DOCUMENTARY COMPETITION JURY for the DOCUMENTARY FILM COMPETITIONof Innsbruck City Administration endowed with € 3 000
(1+2) NoCut Collective
NoCut Collective comprises documentary filmmakers Cristina Hanes (Romania), Isabella Rinaldi (Italy), and Arya Rothe (India). They graduated from the DocNo-mads master’s programme. Their first production, A RIFLE AND A BAG (2020), was shown at over 30 festivals. Cristina Hanes and Isabella Rinaldi will repre-sent the collective at IFFI. Cristina Hanes won the Best Short Film Award in Locarno in 2017 with her short film ANTÓNIO E CATARINA. Isabella Rinaldi is currently directing an episode of the series BORDERLINE.
(3) Stefan Kruse Jørgensen (Denmark)
Stefan Kruse Jørgensen was born in Den-mark in 1987. He is a filmmaker and vi-sual artist with a background in graphic design. In July of 2017, he received a Master’s Degree in Visual Culture& Iden-tity from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Design (KADK). His work reflects an ongoing research into technical image production and the con-sciousness it shapes. Stefan is current-ly pursuing a postgraduate degree at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne.
(4) Oksana Sarkisova (Hungary)
Oksana Sarkisova is Director of Verzio International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival in Budapest and Research Fellow at Blinken OSA Archive at Central European University. She conducts re-search on memory and representation, contested historical representations, amateur photography, and documentary film. She curated several retrospectives and thematic film programmes at inter-national festivals.
