LE DERNIER REFUGE (THE LAST SHELTER) - STREAM

In Gao, Mali, in the south of the Sahara Desert, stands the House of Migrants. It offers shelter to people passing through, whether they are on their way to Europe or making their way home after a failed attempt. Some people, like Natacha, spend several years in the House. Here they can rest, discuss routes, exchange advice, get medical help, and keep each other company. Samassékou does not pass judgement and keeps a respectful distance. Samassékou dedicates this film to his uncle who disappeared on this route thirty years ago.
