HALLO TENGER! (HELLO SEA!)
2016, Hungary
HALLO TENGER!
Maria Grazia Goya
HALLO TENGER! is the search for something intangible as well as a personal journey. Driven by the director’s own close relationship with the sea, the film explores what the sea means to people living in a landlocked country. In HALLO TENGER! by Maria Grazia Goya, the sea is the element that regulates the dynamics of this cinematic encounter. For the Ecuadorian filmmaker, it’s what she misses the most; for two elderly Hungarian women, it’s something they will never see in their lives.
