Off-screen, too, IFFI 2026 offers a diverse supporting program. Concerts, DJ sets, and artistic encounters create spaces for exchange and shared experiences. A special highlight is the experimental performance by Sudanese singer-songwriter Hiba Elgizouli and Tyrolean drummer, producer, and composer Andi Stecher, which blends musical traditions with contemporary soundscapes as part of the awards ceremony.
For the first time, IFFI is extending its reach beyond the cinema after the screenings at wednesday: the festivities will continue with cumbia, forró, and a DJ set during a festival night at Montagu.
