AWARD CEREMONY + CONCERT ALINE FRAZÃO

The prizes of the competitions will be awarded on JUNE 10, 2023, 8 pm, at LEOKINO ANICHSTRASSE 36, 6020 INNSBRUCK. The award ceremony will be followed by the concert of ALINE FRAZÃO at LEOKINO 1.

THE MARTIN will be awarded. The Martin is the film award of the International Film Festival Innsbruck IFFI. It is named after the Austrian artist Martin Schlögl (*1988), who designed the trophy for the award. The Martin will be awarded for the first time in 2023 in five categories.

Aline Frazão grew up in Angola's capital Luanda, studied in Lisbon, lived in Spain for a long time and has since returned to Luanda. Her compositions are influenced by a wide stylistic spectrum: bossa nova is part of it, jazz as well as the music of Cape Verde. The reference to her Angolan homeland and her Creole roots is formative for her music. We became aware of them through their dreamlike soundtrack to the film AR CONDICIONADO, the winner of the feature film competition at IFFI #29.
