The CABÍRIA Festival from Brazil has been an IFFI partner festival since 2021. We very much look forward to working with them in future. The goal of CABÍRIA is to make films by women and people of different gender identities visible and thus contribute to the debate on diversity in audio-visual production chains. This is also a major objective of the IFFI. In addition to the film programme, there will also be debates, panels, and workshops. Festival directors Marília Nogueira and Vânia Matos have created the following short film programme for IFFI #30.
