Every year it is a very special moment, difficult to describe, when the individual films come together as a program, forming the ensemble. This year, IFFI once again offered diverse competition programs with great films from 2021 and 2022. In making our selections, we take care to treat the protagonists* with respect and consideration, and look for fresh ways of approaching filmmaking.
Watching films at a festival is more than watching a film, it is an immersion: The concentration, the condensation of films, encounters, debates and impressions make a visit to a festival an impressive experience. See you in 2023, at this cinema!
