JURY FEATURE-FILM-COMPETITION ⁠ at the price of the Land of Tyrol⁠

DORIS POSCH is a film and media scholar, curator and a lecturer at the Department of Theatre, Film and Media Studies and at the Department of African Studies at the University of Vienna, Austria. In her research and teaching, she focuses on transnational, postcolonial, and emerging filmmaking, especially in African and Caribbean film cultures and diasporas. She was a co-founder of CineCollective and, since 2019, has been co-director of the open-air film fest Kaleidoskop – Urbanities Film Festival at Karlsplatz, Vienna.

TANJA HLADNIK: Director and artistic co-director of the Kino Otok – Isola Cinema International Film Festival, Slovenia, which took place for the 16th time as a hybrid live and online event in 2020. She graduated in comparative literature, literary theory and journalism in Ljubljana, and obtained an MA in cultural politics, management and education in Maastricht. Her interests include contemporary arthouse cinema as well as audio-visual works which transcend the classical perception of the cinematic experience.

Born and raised in Upper Austria, SIGRID GRUBER studied Scandinavian Studies and Theater, Film and Media Studies in Vienna, Stockholm and Mexico City. She is a graduate of the postgraduate course “Curating in the Scenic Arts” at the University of Salzburg and LMU Munich. Since 2018 she has been employed at DAS KINO Salzburg, where she is responsible for press and public relations. Since 2019 she has also been working as co-curator of the Latin America Film Festival Salzburg and the Cine Latino Festival Vienna.
