A family sets off on a road trip with an unknown mission. A lively six-year-old, the loving parents with their sarcastic humour, and the adult son, mysterious in his calmness, drive through the changing landscapes of Iran towards the border. A strict ban on mobile phones and secret phone calls promise a delicate situation.

Panah Panahi – son of the banned director Jafar Panahi – tells the story of the difficult fate of many of his compatriots in a visually striking way in his feature film debut. Alongside a compelling narrative style, the film captivates with its humour.
