WILL MY PARENTS COME TO SEE ME?
A detention centre in Somalia. An experienced guard arranges the headscarf that is part of her uniform, gets out of the car and goes to work. She opens a cell and asks the young inmate Farah what he wants to eat. It becomes evident that something horrible is imminent. Using only few words, he just wants to know one thing: will his parents come to see him again?Delicate sounds of a brass band and songs from the car radio punctuate this sensitive, impressive and precise examination of capital punishment.
