Every year, a wealthy couple invite friends and family to their posh villa by the sea for their Christmas and New Year’s festivities. No party would work without Madá, the housekeeper, though. Madá's real dream, however, is to run her own kiosk – and she is about to make her dream come true. Then one year everything changes: the landlord is arrested because of corruption, and Madá has to get creative to provide an income for herself and the other maids. This film is a brilliant comedy about class differences and corruption. Regina Casé's (Madá) performance is outstanding.
