In this hybrid documentary, British- Ghanian artist and director John Akomfrah interrogates the origins, impact and significance of Afrofuturism, cyberculture and techno music for the black diaspora. Framed by the fictional story of a "data thief", the film navigates between archives, interviews and inspirational musical figures, such as George Clinton, Sun Ra.
