PACIFIC

In PACIFIC, Angie Obeid, born in Bei- rut, depicts a space with its plurality of characters and creates a poignant microcosmos. Pacific is the name of the building where she lives in Brussels – notoriously known as the ‘suicide tower’. The director approaches her neighbours to tell a haunting account of tragic destinies, bringing to the surface personal memories intertwined with ordinary racism and traumas of war.
