X, Lelé and Maria are navigating working-class life in Angola’s capital. Having grown up in a church-run orphanage, they now, as young adults, try to scrape by on precarious jobs. X, the outsider, roams Luanda with the keen eye of a poet and begins to rap to convey his experiences and express his observations.
