MANGA D'TERRA

Rosinha has moved from Cape Verde to Reboleira in the greater Lisbon area. Many immigrants from Cape Verde live in this community. Rosinha wants to become a singer, but for now, she needs to deal with day-to-day challenges in her new home. The worries of the present fade away, however, when music, humour, hope and solidarity between women take centre stage. With MANGA D'TERRA, Da Cunha immerses himself in Reboleira and the Cape Verdean diaspora and creates a beautiful film together with them.
