LUXEMBOURG, LUXEMBOURG (Winner Audience Competition)

Twins Kolja and Vasja (played by rappers Amil and Ramil Nasirov) could not be more different: one is a (too) honest policeman, the other a bus driver and petty criminal. When they learn that their father is dying in Luxembourg, they set out on a journey. In his second film, Lukich processes his own experience: he, too, has stories about his absent father, who apparently wore Prada and was acquainted with Antonio Banderas. Lukich succeeds in making a peculiar, colourful film that tells us a great deal about Ukraine after independence and before the war.
