LUČŠEE MESTO NA ZEMLE (LVNZ / BEST PLACE ON THE EARTH)

This film focuses on the ‘lost generation’ of Tajikistan: those who were born during the civil war that lasted from independence until 1997. Young people, for whom Tajikistan is their homeland on paper, find it difficult to identify with it. Some hold on to their homeland until the end, while others decide to let go and leave the country, hoping to be able to fill an inner void far from home.
