LATINO BAR (1st America Film Festival, 1992)

A simple bar, somewhere in Latin America between shacks and narrow walkways in a sea of rigs, is a meeting place for the poorest of the poor. People come and go, uniformed killers murder dedicated people, a boy falls in love with a girl. The film gathers an arc full of small scenes and sensitively observed stories that gives new shape to old myths.
