An informal settlement on the outskirts of Madrid needs to make way for a building project. The residents have long been used to intimidation and threats from the police and landowners, but this time things are getting serious. Some families are beginning to pack up their things. This beautiful portrait of the Gabarre family, their everyday life, and their thoughts and concerns leaves a lasting impression – also in terms of its cinematic form as the protagonists act out their own stories. It feels like a documentary and unbelievably real. What's more, the actors are simply outstanding!
