LA RESERVA (THE RESERVE)

Most people in a village in Chiapas, Mexico, make a living from coffee farming. When Julia, who is responsible for protecting the local nature reserve, hears the sound of chainsaws at night, she knows that danger is imminent. The struggle that ensues is complex: while Julia first needs to convince the villagers that protecting their land is worth taking risks, the intruders may not be what they seem.
