HYTTI NRO 6 (ABTEIL NR. 6)

Shy Finnish archaeology student Laura is determined to visit the famous rock paintings in icy Murmansk in order to put an unhappy romance behind her. In compartment no. 6, she meets a fellow traveller: Ljoha is a miner, hard-drinking and loud. They have to work things out between themselves in the smallest of spaces. The sound of “Voyage, voyage” takes us on an atmospheric wintry train journey in the late 1990s. A gently rough, melancholic, odd road movie on rails, inspired by the eponymous novel by Rosa Liksom.
