GARDERIE NOCTURNE (NIGHT NURSERY)

In a town not far from Ouagadougou, sex workers bring their children to Ms Coda for the night. For years, the old lady has been making a living by supervising and raising the children of mothers who work at night. Most of the kids get picked up in the morning, sometimes they stay for longer. Odile and Farida are among the women who use Ms Coda’s services. With restraint, great sensitivity, and respect, and without passing any moral judgement, Moumouni Sanou follows Odile, Farida, and Ms Coda at work, in their free time with the children, and in their daily routines.
