In a cluttered, flashy film full of TikTok filters and effects, director Yuhan Teng shows the familiar tropes of innocent first love and the rapid rise of a factory worker who goes on to become the most famous Gaga dance influencer. This unusual debut film creates a mesmerising and amusing viewing experience and is based, among other things, on the personal experiences of amateur actor Pink Hair, who is a Gaga dance legend in real life.
