FOREST MIND

2014, Switzerland

Ursula Biemann

In its search for the intelligence of nature, FOREST MIND takes an eco-centric worldview, drawing on both scientific and shamanic perspectives. Ursula Biemann works at the interface between scientific and colonial history in order to decolonise indigenous knowledge and integrate it into modern science. Unlike many Western voices, the representatives of the Inga people in Colombia, who are the focus of the story, are open to a dialogue on an equal footing – because we all inhabit the earth.
