EL POLVO YA NO NUBLA NUESTROS OJOS (AFTER THE DUST)

The Colectivo Silencio Peru gifts a collection of memories and readings to mark the 200th anniversary of Peru’s independence: even after two hundred years, there are still many forgotten conflicts in different parts of Peru. The film, shot on Super 8, is a kind of B-side to the official historiography – a captivating expression of agency, resistance and the inter-generational commitment to maintaining the common fight for rights and democracy.
