The essay film DAYS IN BETWEEN reflects the engagement with border regions and topographies of violence and violation. In a nuanced choreography of audio-visual recalibrations, the film looks at postindustrial landscapes and stereotypes assigned to ‘the Balkans.’ The disjunctive ethos of the film and its interstitial practice of thought give a voice to the neglected, providing viewers possibilities and hope in uncertain times in an aesthetically affective and also political way. The film will be followed by the presen- tation of the eponymous book in the presence of the artist.
