A bourgeois pensioner couple wants to acquire their own mausoleum, a blind woman in the slums keeps a pig and two orphans, a radio host wants to convince a young suicide of the beauty of life: satire, social drama, melodrama. Three closed worlds from which there is no escape are linked into a bizarre microcosm of perverted living conditions. The coexistence of these worlds in a confined space heightens the atmosphere to absurdity. Morbid decadence and brutal struggle for existence take on equally grotesque features.
