BLADE

Born by a mother bitten by a vampire, Blade is a half-vampire, half-human gift- ed with all the good vampire attributes in combination with the best human skills. Wearing a black leather trench coat, Blade protects humans from evil vampires thanks to his superpowers and sophisticated weapons. With his first appearance as a sup- porting character in a 1973 Marvel comic book, Blade had its own solo story pub- lished in 1974. Adapted to cinema in 1998, it became the first Marvel film to cast a Black super-hero (Wesley Snipes).
