ARIBADA

In a coffee-growing area in Colombia, Aribada, a resurrected monster, meets Las Traviesas, a group of indigenous transwomen from the Emberá people. Enchanted by their beauty and power, Aribada decides to join Las Traviesas and create a trans-futurist community together. This film weaves together magical, dreamlike and performative layers. An aesthetic and spiritual world evolves in which the boundaries between documentary and fiction merge into a transcultural narrative.
