A hearse travels through Medellín while Theo Montoya talks about his past in this brutal and conservative city. He initially intended to make a feature film about ghosts. But his main queer actor, aged 21, dies of a heroin overdose just one week after being cast. And before the film is finished, more friends pass away. They are his ghosts – always present despite their absence. Using footage from the casting, observations from everyday life as well as party scenes, Montoya explores the dreams and fears of a subculture under pressure.
