Pat and Angie live a happy life in Hong Kong: the two women have a stable relationship, a strong connection with Pat's family, support from their queer friends and a nice flat. When Pat unexpectedly passes away, Angie not only has to deal with her grief but is also confronted with the fact that her relationship is legally worth less than others and not accepted by some parts of society.
