AL DJAZIRA

As the sun barely rises over the Algerian capital, a mysterious, bizarrely dressed man lands on the beach on the outskirts of the city. He walks through the deserted streets of Algiers accompanied all the while by an unsettling soundtrack. He crosses the few metres that separate him from freedom. The film portrays a utopian future in an absurd science-fiction style.
