Adolf Pichler Platz

In July 2000, the old Adolf­Pichler­Platz was destroyed. Some activists tried, back then, to prevent the clearing of this green oasis in the centre of Innsbruck, passed unanimously by the city council, by way of tree sittings. More and more people joined the protest and even be­ lieved they could achieve something. Twenty years later, Michaela Krunic, one of the erstwhile activists, returns to the newly designed square with the film­ maker, remembering and comparing. Poli­ ticians, who were involved at the time, also comment twenty years on.
