In the middle of the dusty wasteland of the Algerian Sahara, on a road leading towards the border, Malika runs her little shop. The most diverse travellers are stopping off here, in order to have coffee, a bite to eat, and to chat for a bit with Malika – on the economic situation in the country, religious fanatism, things private and political. Malika has an opinion about everything, at times ironically playful, at times direct and clear. A reversed road movie that highlights a new facet of Malika’s character with every movement.
