KAÏRAT

A train leaves the station of a small village in the Kazakh steppe. Kairat, a man in his early twenties, has just got on the train and is off to Almaty, determined to carry on studying. But as he is sitting for the entrance exam, he is expelled from university for lack of discipline. He stays in Almaty to be trained as a busdriver. One day, Kairat spots a young girl among the passengers who’ve got on the bus.
