Pakistan is a country that most often attracts attention through its negative headlines and is mentioned in the same sentence as violence and intolerance. But the village Mulhapar, which is located in the plains of the Punjab, is shaped by diversity: rich and poor, Muslims and Christians, young and old live here together. In poetic images this film portrays a village that lives in conflict between tradition and the influence of globalization and thereby shows a different facet of Pakistan.
