A half-destroyed football stadium in Kirkuk, the Kurdish North of Iraq, is the principal setting of the latest film by Shawkat Amin Korki. Here some 300 refugee families are living together, waiting for life outside the stadium to get back to normal again. Asu, an idealistic young man, arranges a football match between the Kurdish and Iraqi boys of the camp, hoping to cheer up his younger brother.
