CITY WALLS – MY OWN PRIVATE TEHERAN

The exile Iranian Afsar Sonia Shafie returns to her homeland 25 years after the Iranian revolution and presents with CITY WALLS a film about strong women who want to improve living conditions for their daughters. The documentary outlines half a century of Shafie’s family history with women from three generations in the centre: the director’s grandmother, her mother and her sister Sona.
