Roland „Mundungaze“ Pickl, an Austrian musician and producer who lives in Mozambique has founded „Positivo Mocambique“ together with rapper Helio D. Vanimal. The project uses music as media to draw attention to the disease AIDS. In dialogues, everday life scenes and trips through the country, the two musicians tell about the huge problems of Mocambique: There are still aftermaths of war, many people are poor, hungry and unemployed – and a lot of them suffer from HIV/AIDS. But BOM DIA INHAMBANE also tells about the beauty of the country and the positive influence of music on the people.
